Kristin Priest, MA, CFREKristin Priest, MA, CFRE serves as Vice President, Client Strategy at Pursuant. With over twenty years of experience as a consultant and fundraiser, Kristin has partnered with diverse nonprofit organizations including healthcare, secondary and higher education institutions, animal welfare and faith-based ministries to strengthen their fundraising programs and advance their mission. Her expertise includes, major and mid-level giving, coaching and training, comprehensive fundraising counsel, and capital campaigns.
Prior to joining Pursuant, Kristin served for nine years as the associate director of Philanthropic Service for Institutions (PSI) where she provided consulting services to a variety of organizations on issues such as major and mid-level gift development, comprehensive fundraising management, capital campaign planning, board development, and capacity building. She also managed extensive professional development programs including onsite training, workshops, and new fundraiser mentorship programs. Prior to PSI Kristin served as a mid-level gift officer and annual giving director for Texas Christian University and Washington Adventist University. As a fundraiser passionate about strengthening the nonprofit community, she serves as a member of AFP’s Research Council and was a founding member of AFP’s Growth in Giving Initiative. Both groups have published multiple papers and presented at ARNOVA and other professional research conferences. Kristin earned a Master’s degree in Philanthropic Studies from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University and a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications from Southwestern Adventist University. She received her Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation in 2007. |
